หลักการและเหตุผล
 

   การเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็วของพลวัตรการพัฒนาในปัจจุบัน ส่งผลให้หลายประเทศทั่วโลกต้องเผชิญกับความหลากหลายทั้งในด้านสังคม วัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจที่มีอิทธิพลต่อวิถีชีวิต การเคลื่อนเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียน (The ASEAN Community) ในปี 2558 ของกลุ่มประเทศในอาเซียนจึงมีความจำเป็นต้องเตรียมความพร้อมในทุกๆด้านของการพัฒนา รวมถึงการจัดการศึกษาซึ่งถือว่ามีความสำคัญในการขับ เคลื่อนประชาคมอาเซียนให้ก้าวไปด้วยกันอย่างมั่นคงและมีคุณภาพ
 

   วิทยาลัยบัณฑิตเอเซียมีนโยบายในการเป็นสถาบันอุดมศึกษาแห่งคุณภาพ(Quality First) มีมาตรฐานสากล (Universal Standard) และสานสัมพันธ์กับนานาชาติ (Internationalization) หนึ่งในยุทธศาสตร์ที่สำคัญเพื่อไปให้ถึงเป้าหมายนั้นคือ การสร้างงานวิจัยที่มีคุณภาพและมีคุณค่า ซึ่งถือเป็นกระบวนการแสวงหาความรู้ที่สร้างความก้าวหน้าทางวิชาการ แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ที่เปิดกว้างสู่สังคมทั้งในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลก ในการนี้วิทยาลัยบัณฑิตเอเซียโดยบัณฑิตวิทยาลัยร่วมกับสำนักวิจัยและพัฒนา จึงได้จัดให้มีการประชุมวิชาการและเสนอผลงานวิจัยระดับชาติและนานาชาติ ครั้งที่ 1/2556 ขึ้นในวันที่ 11 ตุลาคม 2556 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อเปิดเวทีวิชาการในการเสนอผลงานวิจัย แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้และสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ ของนิสิต นักศึกษา คณาจารย์ นักวิชาการ นักวิจัยในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาทั้งในและต่างประเทศ รวมถึงหน่วยงานที่สนใจ นำไปสู่การประยุกต์ใช้ผลงานวิจัยให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อประเทศ ชาติและสังคมโลกต่อไป
 

Rationale
   The rapid changes of current dynamic development have affected many countries around the world in terms of social, cultural, and economic aspects influencing people’s ways of life and the entering into the ASEAN Community of Asian countries in 2015. Therefore, it is essential that all should be well prepared for every aspect of development, including education which is considered very important drive for the ASEAN Community to progress with stability and quality.
 

   The College of Asian Scholars has had a policy on becoming a higher educational institution of quality first, universal standards, and internationalization. One of the important strategies to reach the goals is to produce quality and valuable research which is considered progress in knowledge seeking and exchanging among regional and worldwide societies. Thus, the Graduate School and the Office of Research and Development designated by the College of Asian Scholars are going to organize the first CAS National and International Conference 2013 on October 11, 2013. The main objective is to provide an academic stage for both Thai and foreign university or college students, faculty members, academics, and researchers in various work units to present their research studies, exchange knowledge, and create academic cooperation. It is hoped that the research results can be applied for the benefits of the country and worldwide societies.
